Myself In Tunes

I don't want to start blogging my resolutions until it's officially 2010 so I decided it was best to let you get to know me a little better. There is no better way to give you a glimpse of me than through music. Without music, my life would be dull and uninspired. I carefully went through my giant library of music and picked the sounds that describe me the best. Believe me, it wasn't easy. Choosing one Sufjan Stevens song was probably most difficult. If I could, I would add about 20 more songs to the list. But alas, I chose the best ones--the songs that make me, me.

1. America --Simon & Garfunkel
2. Sweet Disposition --The Temper Trap
3. Let Go --Frou Frou
4. No One's Gonna Love You --Band of Horses (This one's for you, Tru)
5. Come Pick Me Up --Ryan Adams
6. You Can't Hurry Love --The Concretes
7. King of the Rodeo --Kings of Leon
8. Powerman --The Kinks
9. Burn That Broken Bed --Iron and Wine/Calexico
10. We Looked Like Giants --Death Cab for Cutie
11. Hazeltons --Justin Vernon
12. Wolverine --Sufjan Stevens
13. 7/4 (Shoreline) --Broken Social Scene
14. The Wind --Cat Stevens
15. September Grass --James Taylor
16. Long Ride Home --Patty Griffin
17. Lake Michigan --Rogue Wave
18. The Big Guns --Jenny Lewis with the Watson Twins
19. Shake It Out --Manchester Orchestra
20. Lose Some Time --Grace Potter & the Nocturnals
21. Harvest Moon --Neil Young
22. Oh! Sweet Nuthin' --The Velvet Undergound

What's yours?
