I wa...Beautiful thoughts, and such a good reminder. I want to be selfless more than anything, but it's so hard to remember to put others first. And it's even more hard to remember to put others first for THEIR good, and not for your own. <br /><br />"I don't want to feel better about myself. I want to quit thinking about myself for a while."<br />This is so, so hard to do. I'm constantly tempted to do things for others just to make myself look better or to make myself feel more accomplished. I went on a service-learning trip this summer, which made me feel slightly better about the "selfish" part of serving since we were also there to learn.
